Together with our local and national partner organizations, Oberlin Center for the Arts has been exploring how to provide support our arts and cultural sector. We will continue to provide updates and resources throughout this time through our website and other direct communications, lending our efforts where they are needed the most.
There are a number of great resources being developed by our membership organizations which provide a more thorough catalog than our listing. We have included a selection of outward links below.
Here are a few ways we can all support Lorain County's nonprofit arts and cultural sector and fuel hope and healing during this difficult time for our community, country, and the world:
Advocate. Ask how you can help artists and arts organizations in your network, then take action and invite your friends to do the same.
Donate. Organizations are being as flexible as possible on their ticketing policies. Consider donating your unused ticket back to the organization according to the organization's specific policies (versus requesting a refund) and making an additional donation to support their work.
Our support for our arts and cultural organizations, artists, and others impacted must also remain strong so they can continue to strengthen our community now and into the future.
