Oberlin Center for the Arts and StoryLens Pictures are proud to join together to offer interACTS, a program to virtually deliver arts and culture to older adults, those most vulnerable and underserved in our community. interACTS will include performances and educational programs from the arts and culture community delivered into care facilities, medical institutions, and individual households throughout Lorain County.
As this work evolves, Oberlin Center for the Arts will be working to collect personal reflections and information that will be the basis of creative responses and long-term interactions between artists and older adults in our region. Ultimately, Oberlin Center for the Arts envisions interACTS to provide engagement and enrichment to older adults who face long-term isolation and subsequent health effects, while directing much-needed assistance to artists and organizations who seek creative ways to support the community.
All interACTS works will appear on our Videos page.
